Art deco band
This commission was originally inspired by a ring our clients saw in a paris boutique. They emailed a picture to our studio and we took it from there. After several sketches this art deco inspired sapphire and diamond right hand ring was created to commemorate a special anniversary.
This commission was inspired by a restyled diamond pendant we previously done for our client. She used several diamonds from recycled family pieces to create earrings with a similar aesthetic to her pendant. D. Muscio created the versatile design to be worn as either casual day wear or formal for an evening out.
Men’s colored stone ring
This commission began with the purchase of the colorless “pillow cut” beryl from a gemstone roundtable with master cutter Clay Zava. Our client wanted a masculine statement highlighting the slight blue hue of the beryl with the addition of the accent aquamarines and diamonds to complete the statement.
Jewelry restyling involves taking your existing piece of jewelry and updating it to your taste with a completely new setting, new style or additional gemstones. Click images to enlarge.
Our client purchased a “Pillow cut” brown zircon at one of our semi-annual Gemstone Roundtable events with artisan gem cutter, Clay Zava. She wanted to update her vintage styled engagement ring into a less traditional design. Our solution combines her original vintage diamond flow with a modern take by featuring the brown zircon as the center stone with modern shank.
Our client originally came to D. Muscio studio to repair a family mourning brooch. It was beyond repair, however, we provided her with an option to create a three-piece suite. Inspired by the original Victorian brooch, we created inheritance pieces for her children. Transformed into a necklace, earring and cocktail ring has given her heirloom brooch a second life.
For this 10-year anniversary restyle, the client reconfigured her princess cut and tapered baguette engagement ring into a modern take on a traditional three-stone ring. It was important for the design to coordinate with the her wedding band. We upgraded the metal to platinum, placed her previous baguettes as accents and added larger princess cut stones.
